About 2 years ago or so, I was on line looking for rare breeds of cattle when I ran across the rare breeds cattle website and saw a photo of British Whites and White Parks. After reading what they had posted, I did a little more digging and found a photo of the most beautiful little white calf with black markings that I had ever seen. I must say that I was amazed!!! The more I read on these magnificent cattle, the more I wanted to know. It took some time, but just over a year ago, Cedarview Farm brought home their first White heifer. Now, we are addicted!! The herd is still small, but growing. Currently, there are four ladies and our boy. Calves will soon be arriving and the excitement is almost too much to bare.
We have all stumbled across amazing cattle that although a very old breed, they are virtually unheard of in the US.
I ask all of you to join us in learning and enjoying each others tales; but keep in mind that new breeders and individuals just learning about these great bovines will also be reading this forum. Give them and these cattle the respect they deserve by keeping a respectful attitude.
So, in between feedings, checking the fences and admiring the cattle in your pastures, stop by and say hi. We all have so much to learn from one another.
Sincerely, Cedarview Farm

Sherry & Mark,
Thank you for starting the White Cattle Board. I enjoy stopping by a couple of times a week and checking out the new posts. I know a lot of hard work goes into an effort like this.
I just want to say Thank you!

This is 6 years now that we have had the white Park cattle. We were looking for a different breed when we came across these white heifers at the Denver Stock show. Our herd started at that show that year with purchasing 2 heifers. We now have 40 purebred cows and a few crossbreeds. We keep all our steers for feeding out and heifers for replacements or sale. We also keep a few bulls around too.
