Hi All, Hope everyone is having a good spring thus far. It is raining here again and although it is a cold one, I am thankful that the pastures and fields are getting a good dose of it. Along with the promise of a good hay season, the promise of next year is under way. This morning, before daybreak of course, little Miesha made her grand entrance. Obviously made without incident, she is beautifully and standard marked. Not having a weight scale handy at this time, I would guess coming in in the high 70's to low 80's in poundage. Mom is rolling along happily with her new calf, the other cattle are still more concerned with getting in front of the camera than the newest addition to the herd.
Life is good today and I am so thankful.
Here's to hoping and praying that all of us have plenty of healthy, plump additions this year.
